I will never forget you.

reading from the prophet Isaiah

Zion said, "The Lord has forsaken me,
the Lord has forgotten me."
is a woman forget her infant, be without tenderness for
the son of her womb?
Although they may forget,
I will never forget you.

Word of God

RESPONSORIAL PSALM (Ps 61)
Chorus: In God alone my soul at rest.

rests in God alone my soul:
him my salvation.
He alone is my rock and my salvation;
my defense: I shall never waver.

rests in God alone my soul: he
my hope.
He alone is my rock and my salvation;
my defense: I stand firm.

In God is my salvation and my glory;
my safe haven, my refuge is in God
Trust in him, or people, at all times;
before him, open your heart.

SECOND READING (1Cor 4.1 to 5)
The Lord make manifest the counsels of the hearts.

from the first letter of Paul to the Corinthians

Brothers, one should regard us as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God now, what is required of stewards that they be found trustworthy.
but I care very little about being judged by you or by a human court, indeed, I do not even judge myself, because even if they are not aware of any fault, why are not justified. My judge is the Lord!
so please do not judge nothing before the time, until the Lord comes. He will bring to light the hidden things of darkness and make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then each will receive from God the praise.

Word of God Gospel Acclamation (cf. Heb 4:12)
Alleluia, alleluia.
The word of God is living and active,
discerns the thoughts and intents of the heart.
Alleluia.

GOSPEL (Mt 6.24-34)
Do not worry about tomorrow.

+ Gospel according to Matthew

Then Jesus told his disciples:
"No one can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one and love the other, or you and despise the other. You can not serve God and wealth.
Therefore I say unto you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink, nor about your body, what you wear, maybe life is not worth more than food and the body more than clothing?
Look at the birds of the air neither sow nor reap, nor gather into barns, yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Not much better than they are worth? And which of you, as you worry, can extend their lives even a little?
And the dress, why do you bother? Observe how the lilies of the field neither toil nor spin. Yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of them. Now, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will do much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?
Do not worry, saying, "What shall we eat? What shall we drink? What shall we wear? ". Of all these things go in search of the pagans. Your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need.
Instead, try, first, the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
not worry so tomorrow, for tomorrow will take care of itself. Each day has enough trouble of its'.

Word del Signore

Preghiera sulle offerte
O Dio, da te provengono questi doni
e tu li accetti in segno del nostro servizio sacerdotale;

In this realm, however, everything you buy. Prudence is recommended to be sighted and greedy. We must prepare for the future, since it is uncertain. But the future escapes us. It belongs to God Making the choice of the kingdom of God, choose to serve God, ruling out any other master, it also means get back to him for the future: have faith in God, the point of not worrying about the future. It is our wealth, our treasure (Mt 13:44). It is safer for us all the gold in the world. Gold is by having a way to ensure its future. But a place on earth, that in the short term. The future of which we speak is as big as eternity. On this place we have no grip. It matters little. God cares for us. Jesus is in charge of "preparing a place" (Jn 14:2). Our future is in good hands. &! Egrave; secure. Why so much concern us? This act of faith, that Jesus demands, it is also a lesson in wisdom. Too often, under the pretext of preparing the future, we no longer live. Jesus is a teacher, not indifference, but of peaceful serenity.
