From the Gospel according to Matthew (Mt 4, 12-23)
When Jesus heard that John was arrested, he withdrew into Galilee, he left Nazareth and went to live in Capernaum by the sea, in the territory of Zebulun and Naphtali, so it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet Isaiah:
"Land of Zebulun and land of Naphtali, the way of the sea
beyond the Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles

From that time Jesus began to preach, "Repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

And he said unto them: Come after me, I will make you fishers of men. " And they immediately left their nets and followed him. And they immediately left the boat and their father and followed him.
Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and preaching the gospel of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness among the people.
