Word of the Lord's Prayer of the Faithful
The Beatitudes which Jesus proclaimed is a promise and a task that was entrusted to us. We pray to the Father, to guide us and sustain us so that we can translate those recommendations into attitudes to life. Please

O Dio, che ci hai nutriti alla tua mensa,
fa’ che per la forza di questo sacramento,
sorgente inesauribile di salvezza,
la vera fede si estenda sino ai confini della terra.

Commento
Beati i poveri davanti a Dio... Che messaggio! Lascia che Dio ti colmi! Egli ti ama malgrado la tua povertà, malgrado i tuoi limiti. Quando sei addolorato dall’effimero della felicità umana sempre minacciata, quando ti senti povero, quando l’afflizione ti paralizza, ascolta la grande promessa di Dio: sarete consolati, sarete fed, you will see God .. This promise is at the heart of our faith. All the good news of Jesus is reflected in the Beatitudes as a burning glass.
