SECONDA LETTURA (1Cor 1,10-13.17)
Siate tutti unanimi nel parlare, perché non vi siano divisioni tra voi.
Dalla prima lettera di san Paolo apostolo ai Corìnzi
Vi esorto, fratelli, per il nome del Signore nostro Gesù Cristo, a essere tutti unanimi nel parlare, perché non vi siano divisioni tra voi, ma siate in perfetta unione di pensiero e di sentire.
Infatti a vostro riguardo, fratelli, mi è stato segnalato dai familiari di Cloe che tra voi vi sono discordie. Mi riferisco al fatto che ciascuno di voi dice: «Io sono di Paolo», «Io invece sono di Apollo», «Io invece di Cefa», «E io di Cristo».
È forse diviso il Cristo? Paolo è stato forse crocifisso per voi? O siete stati battezzati nel nome di Paolo?
Cristo infatti non mi ha mandato a battezzare, ma ad annunciare il Vangelo, non con sapienza di parola, perché non venga resa vana la croce of Christ.

When Jesus heard that John was arrested, he withdrew into Galilee, he left Nazareth and went to live in Capernaum by the sea, in the territory of Zebulun and Naphtali, that what might be fulfilled was spoken by the prophet Isaiah:
"Land of Zebulun and land of Naphtali,
Way of the sea, beyond Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles
!
The people who lived in darkness have seen a great light
,
for those who lived in the region and shadow of death light has arisen
.
From that time Jesus began to preach, "Repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
As he walked along the Sea of \u200b\u200bGalilee, saw two brethren, Simon called Peter and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea, for they were fishermen. And he said unto them: Come after me, I will make you fishers of men. " And they immediately left their nets and followed him. Going further, he saw two other brothers, James son of Zebedee and his brother John, in the boat, along with their father Zebedee, repairing their nets, and he called them. And they immediately left the boat and their father and followed him.
Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and preaching the gospel of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness among the people.

Word of the Lord's Prayer of the Faithful
the people of Galilee, Jesus appeared as a great light, because it offered them hope, a new meaning to life. We ask the Lord that we too can experience of Jesus, His Word to us widen our hearts to hope and joy. Please
saying: Lord hear us.
1. Why does the Church, to which the Lord has asked to shed light on the tortuous path of men, becomes more and more a sign of hope and salvation for all, please.
2. Because the missionaries, witnesses of the Gospel, to know God's plan to present to the world can bear witness with conviction and with consistency, please.
3. Why young people are on the roads of life of honest witnesses of the Gospel, lived in the joy of children saved and loved by God, we pray.
4. That all those who seek happiness from the Lord to leave space in the light of the Spirit, tearing the darkness and the shadow of death, and giving them the great light of hope and salvation, we pray.

The Evangelist Matthew, taking a picture of the book of Isaiah tells us that Jesus is for us the light. In our life, we often see darkness, strengths, difficulties and unresolved tasks that pile up in front of us like a huge mountain, problems with children or friends, solitude, work is not appreciated ...
is between all these painful experiences that reaches us the good word, do you see only darkness, look also at the light with which God illuminates your life. He sent Jesus to share with you your penis. You count on him being at your side, light in the darkness.
We do not we give our life its ultimate meaning. It's him. It is neither our job nor our knowledge, neither our success. It is he, and the light that it distributes. Because the value of our life is not based on what we do, nor on the consideration that we acquire or influence. It takes all its value because God sees us, turns to us, without conditions, whatever the merit of our own. Its light penetrates into our darkness, even where we feel radically called into question, it penetrates our error. Just when we feel we can trust the limits of our life when we weighed and its meaning seems to elude us. The people in darkness have seen a huge bright light, a light appeared to those who were in the dark kingdom of death!
