On Your servant is' your face shine,

SECOND READING (Rom 3.21-25a .28)
The man is justified by faith apart from works of law.

from the letter of Paul to the Romans

Brothers, now apart from law, has manifested the righteousness of God, as witnessed by the Law and the Prophets: the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all those who believe.
fact there is no difference, because all have sinned and come short of the glory of God, they are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus whom God put forward as an expiation , through faith in His blood.
We believe that a man is justified by faith apart from works the Law.

Word of God Gospel Acclamation (John 15, 5)
Alleluia, alleluia.
I am the vine, ye are the branches,
saith the Lord;
who abides in me, and I in him, bears much fruit
.
Alleluia.

GOSPEL (Mt 7.21-27)
The house built on rock and the house built on sand.

+ Gospel according to Matthew

At that time, Jesus told his disciples:
"Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.
On that day many will say to me 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name? And in thy name have we not cast out demons? And in thy name have we not done many miracles? But then I will declare to them: "I have never known. Get away from me, ye who work iniquity. "
then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on rock. The rain fell, the floods came, the winds blew and beat upon that house, but it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.
everyone who hears these words of mine and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man who built his house upon the sand. The rain fell, the floods came, blew and the winds beat against that house, and it fell and great was its fall. "

Word of the Lord's Prayer of the Faithful

The Word of God has called the essence of the Christian message, asking us to trust in faith in Christ the Savior and to join with life to his word. We ask the Father to help us be faithful and consistent in living what we believe. Please

Comment
In this Gospel we recognize two parts. The first tells us that Jesus will not make any distinction between men
: it is not because we said, 'Lord, Lord, prophesied and performed miracles in his name that we will be recognized by him on that day, but only because we have done the will the Father, just like him. The Father's will is that we listen and believe him that he has sent, because only through faith in Jesus Christ we receive the righteousness of God, come ci suggerisce la seconda lettura.
" We can put into practice the words of Jesus, and in this case, we build on rock, relying not on our forces or our works, but on Christ. "For no one can lay any foundation other than the one that is already there, which is Jesus Christ" (1 Cor 3:11). But we can not put his words into practice! and then build on the sand, votandoci first to succumb to the difficulties.
May Jesus Christ always be for us a rock and a fortress where to be safe.
