How Much Essiac Tea Do You Give A Cat

not belittled the significance of the death of Shahbaz Bhatti

Si era poi speso politicamente affinché questa legge sulla blasfemia, che secondo le international organizations is often used as a means of repression of religious minorities, were amended or even removed from the legal system of Pakistan. On the occasion of the assassination of Governor Salmaan Taseer , assassinated by a bodyguard because he stood for, too, the abolition of the crime of blasphemy, Bhatti was the first to condemn the act.

At the last cabinet reshuffle, despite pressure from Islamic groups, Bhatti had maintained his post at the direction of the ministry for religious minorities in his country. He welcomed the reconfirmation with satisfaction: "I thank God for giving me this opportunity to continue My struggle for the oppressed minorities of Pakistan. "

Subsequently, however, had been warned of the existence of a terrorist plot to assassinate him, and he complained that his stock had not been strengthened. Nevertheless, he had changed his mind:
I fought for so long for justice and equality. If you change your position now, who would speak in my place? I am aware of being murdered at any time, but I want to be remembered as a brave man.

Shahbaz Bhatti was killed March 2 by an armed commando, Islamabad.

religious fundamentalists, perhaps linked to the Taliban in Pakistan, they killed him because it was committed to change a law used to persecute religious minorities in his country.

Bhatti's figure is significant, because he fought against oppression despite her religious life was in danger. It is important that his death is an example of the heroic defense of the rights of human beings, in this case the right to profess their religion without fear of being persecuted. Without examples like his, it is difficult to imagine a better future, without painful divisions, without persecution.

The "problem" is that Bhatti was a Christian, a devout Christian, and that Christians are giving dangerous to his death a meaning, that of martyrdom for the faith.

Pakistani bishops intend to ask the Vatican to declare Bhatti "martyr for the faith" in that it explicitly gave their lives "for the crystalline faith in Jesus Christ."

I will not deny or hide the faith of Bhatti, he professed clearly and unambiguously. I want to make clear that if Bhatti was praised as "a martyr for the faith," his action would lead to debased, not exalted.

If you publicly declare that anything that Bhatti has done for the Christian minorities in his country, with the sacrifice of his life, he has fatto per fede, vorrebbe dire che il suo agire era dettato meramente dalla difesa dei propri correligionari e della propria religione.
